It's another week in the Dales as tensions continue to rise

Emmerdale has kept fans on their toes in recent weeks as the drama continues to unfold in the Leeds-based soap. Heading into a new week, the village is still reeling from Ella Forster's arrest after she became determined to prove her innocence to Liam Cavanagh.
Joe Tate's kidney transplant proved successful as he fled from the village and Caleb returned home, grateful for Joe finding him when he did - unaware that the whole attack was orchestrated by his nephew.
Elsewhere in the village, Jacob was heartbroken to see that Sarah had already moved on with Kammy, and continued to be disappointed as she rejected his offer for them to try again.

Dawn has a decision to make...
In recent weeks, Dawn started an affair with Joe behind her husband Billy's back. What started off as casual soon became a lot more serious, as she revealed that she's started falling for Joe.
Kim’s uneasy when Joe reiterates the sincerity of his feelings towards Dawn and his determination to win her back around. Joe insists to Dawn that she’s still in love with him. Knowing he’s ultimately right, Dawn’s left in a quandary.
Dawn’s flustered when he continues to convince her to leave Billy and she realises that she has a decision to make. Dawn feels like a fraud as she avoids her husband yet again. Overwhelmed, she begins to open up to Manpreet. Later, Dawn meets with Joe and tells him her decision.

Caleb gets to the truth...
Caleb Miligan has had a rough few weeks in the village after being stabbed at the depot and losing a kidney during the process. Unknown to him, Joe Tate planned the whole thing in order to get a kidney transplant as he was suffering from chronic kidney disease.
While at the Miligan's house, Joe panics when he realises that he’s left his coat (with his pills inside) at Caleb’s. Steph goes to hand over Joe’s coat but his medication falls out and Caleb’s intrigued to catch Joe stuffing some pills back in his pocket.
Suspicious, Caleb vows to get to the bottom of Joe’s interest in his family’s lives. That afternoon, in the depot, Caleb finally settles on a plan and tears down a light fixture in his office as a ploy to get Noah on his own.
Whilst Noah tends to the light fixture, Caleb subtly grills him about Joe. When Noah recalls his visions of Joe whilst he was spiked, Caleb’s cogs begin to whirr....Caleb investigates his suspicions.

Steph receives a gift from Anthony...
While viewers watched Anthony Fox get killed by daughter Ruby, Steph is convinced that her grandad is still alive after she receive flowers from him.
She begins to spiral after only just finding out the harrowing truth about her grandad, who also happens to be her biological father due to the abuse he inflicted on Ruby as a teenager.
Later, Jai admits to sending the flowers and Ruby discloses Anthony’s abuse and a humiliated Jai immediately backs off. Having observed the interaction from afar, Joe’s intrigued.
After a while, the family find Steph in the middle of the woods, attempting to dig up Anthony’s grave. Realising that the soil seems undisturbed, they turn their suspicions to John and question whether Anthony is dead after all. The Miligans worry about Joe’s interference in their affairs and Caleb decides to keep his enemies close and invites Joe over for lunch.

Aaron feels co
John Sugden proposed to Aaron Dingle during Chas and Liam's engagement party, and although he accepted he couldn't ignore Chas' disapproval of his relationship.
After confronting his mum, Chas collapsed the next day after overdosing on pills. Ella was blamed for switching the pills, but after she pleaded that it wasn't her, who is responsible?
When Aaron suggests using Chas’ bookings for their wedding Aaron’s dejected by John’s tepid reaction to the idea. Annoyed not to have been consulted, John storms out leaving Aaron confused. The next day, John apologises to Aaron for yesterday’s reaction about the wedding.
Aaron’s surprised when John seems reflective and eager to talk about his faults in the relationship. After some discussion, John opens up to Aaron about his issues surrounding control. Oblivious to the lengths John has gone to maintain control, Aaron reassures his partner and the pair are reunited.

John's past is set to be exposed...
With very little known about the ex-military man, fans have increasingly grown suspicious around John and believe he doesn't have good intentions as they question why he turned up in the village last year.
When Aaron asks John who he’ll be inviting to their wedding, John’s awkward to be put on the spot. On the back foot, John tries to explain his lack of family and friends, will Aaron be suspicious of his fiancé's excuses
Unbeknownst to John, feeling sorry for him, Victoria formulates a plan to contact some of John’s army friends for the stag.

Jacob and Kammy compete for Sarah's affection...
Jacob continues to pine after Sarah and is determined to expose Kammy as a cheater by catching him with another woman. Jacob and Kammy butt heads over Sarah.
Jacob agrees to race Kammy on dirt bikes despite Charity and Sam’s protestations. Whilst Jacob’s confident of his imminent victory, Charity’s concerned for his safety and suggests putting a training plan in place in order to maximise his chances.
Tracy is encouraged to get to the bottom of Nate's disappearance...
Kerry encourages Tracy to take some agency and search for Nate after she tells her that she hasn't heard from him since he "left" the village in September last year.
As viewers may recall, Nate Robinson's body is currently in the lake, and the only other person (apart from who put him there) to see the body was Amy Wyatt who died in the Valentine's limo crash.
