Tourists can hop aboard Laurel Home Tours' hot pink Hummer limousine for a ride around town to glimpse 40-plus of these renovated houses. The tours run 45 minutes to one hour long, with no stops. Cost is $25 per person, and children ride free.

Erin and Ben currently live in Laurel with their two daughters, Helen and Mae. In addition to their 1920s cottage, they also own a second country home in Mississippi. After helping restore Laurel on Home Town, Erin and Ben can't imagine a better place to live with their girls.

To answer some of these burning questions, Erin posted a quick tweet to clear a few things up. The answer is pretty simple: family comes first. Between raising two small children and having to travel to a new town, the "takeover life" doesn't mesh well with their personal life.

As for Ben, he explained to People, "We approach everything as a team." That may be true; however, they both have their own specific tasks when it comes to renovating and their own skillset. Indeed, Ben tends to take care of the wood-related work, which is why you might have assumed that he's a contractor or carpenter.

April 2023: The Napiers reveal why they're 'never apart'

Some married couples enjoy their space, but the Napiers prefer to spend all the time together that they can. In April 2023, Erin Napier told "Entertainment Tonight" why the couple is "never apart."

"People often ask us why we don't do bathrooms or why all the rooms aren't shown on the show," she wrote in a post on Instagram, "and the answer is easy: we design the rooms that our homeowners tell us matter most to them (usually common areas), what their budget will safely cover, and what we have time to do for ...

“Not expecting a baby. Medically not capable, so please give that a rest?” Erin, 38, shared in a message on her Instagram story, according to People.com. “We don't need a son to be complete as a family and I just like loose clothes. let it beeeeee, you sweet people.”

New episodes for the show's seventh season aired in early 2024. It is hard to believe that over 100 homes have been renovated by the Napiers, and that Erin and Ben are in production for Season 8.

After selling just two years ago, a home featured on HGTV's “Home Town” is back on the market. In the Season 1 episode, “Homecoming,” Erin and Ben Napier renovate a four-bedroom home in Laurel, MS, for a pair of newlyweds. By the end of the episode, the 3,328-square foot Craftsman is filled with surprises.
