Sleeper is a well-known name in the US Fantasy space covering NFL, NBA & CFB. This season they have added the Premier League as well and are offering two game modes – Pick’em prediction game, where you predict PL fixtures & a PL Draft Fantasy game.
In this blog, we’ll be having a look at both the game modes offered by the Sleeper Fantasy app for Premier League fans.
Sleeper Premier League Fantasy Game Modes
Pick’em Prediction Game:
Pick’em as the name suggests is a simple prediction game, all you need to do is to predict the results of the PL games in a gameweek. It’s much simpler than other prediction games as you don’t have to predict scores, all you need to do is to predict the result of a fixture (Win/Draw)
Each correct prediction will earn you one point. You can create your Pickem mini leagues and you can join our Pickem league too.
Pickem League features:
- You can chat with people in a Pickem mini-league making it fun and interesting
- Each fixture has information on injury news & key players as well making it easier to predict
- Interactive leaderboards of all players in your Pickem league

Sleeper Premier League Draft Fantasy:
Sleeper Draft Fantasy is one of the best draft fantasy games out there in the market with customizable rules, points scoring, and more which make draft fantasy so much fun. Let’s see how draft fantasy works in the Sleeper app.
Draft process
Choosing Draft Type
The draft order can be of three types -> Snake, Linear & Auction
Snake draft: The draft order is specified or randomized with each round the order reverses. If a player gets to draft first then in the next round the player will pick last. This is the mode common draft mode and we used it in our draft game too(Screenshot of the draft results added below).
Linear draft: The draft order is specified or randomized with each round the order returns to the beginning. If a player gets to draft first then in the next round the player will pick first again.
Auction draft: Managers draft players by bidding on their auction budget. Players are awarded to the teams with the top big for a particular player.

Number of managers in a draft fantasy game:
You can choose a draft size from four managers up to 14 managers. We did a 10-member draft results of the same are added below.
Custom Scoring
The scoring can be customized you can keep the FPL points scoring system to simplify it or you can customize it to add points for tackles won, interceptions, crosses, dribbles, etc.
You can even ask the managers in your draft for their opinion via a poll and decide, that’s how we did it!
Our Ten-Member Draft Summary on Sleeper
Throughout the draft process in the app, you can chat with other managers in the draft about the picks and trust it was so much fun.
You can also add players to the queue so that it’s easier to draft a player when you chance comes. The timing for each pick can be set by the league commish. The number of players can also be customized by default it’s 17 players but like us, you can make it like 15 players in FPL(See setting on the right image)

Recent Activity:
You can also track what’s happening in your draft league through the recent activity tab, I noticed Tsimikas was not picked in the draft and with him starting in the main 11 vs Sevilla I swapped him out for Robertson!
