[Update 06/15/2020 12:17 p.m.]:
The woman who reportedly broke into the Hype House with her daughter and friends is now denying doing it. Maria Ulacia, took to TikTok over the weekend to give her side of the story.
"I just wanted to come on here to apologize to everybody who unfortunately believes that I broke into the Hype House," she began in a video that has since been deleted. She claimed that she didn't break into the house and didn't steal anything from it, saying that while she did put on Chase Hudson's jacket for a video, she did not take it. "I am not a thief, never have been and never will be."
Maria is claiming that there was a caretaker at that house that let them in so they could film.
Maria's daughter, Jenny Popach aka Rosalie Arritola, also said that a care taker led them "to believe it was okay to see the home." She said a door was unlocked and they were told they could go inside. She also emphasized that they didn't steal anything and that the hat that her friend was wearing was not Avani Gregg's hat as many previously believed.
Hype House member, Alex Warren, though, is saying that's not true. "We don't have care takers at the old Hype House," he wrote. "Every door was locked except one window."
Of course, the accusations kept coming and Jenny continued speaking on the situation, denying that she and her friends stole the Hype House's gecko or flushed their fish. "I didn't flush a fish, I didn't even see a fish and I didn't steal a gecko. GOODBYE," she wrote.
Original post: The members of the Hype House moved out of their LA mansion earlier this month in order to make more space for new members. So, a group of girls took advantage of the empty house and snuck in today, filming the whole experience for TikTok.
In a bunch of videos that have since been deleted, you can see a group of girls playing around in the mostly empty Hype House. The Hype House account confirmed in the comments that the girls broke in as the former residents are still paying rent on the place.
In another video, a woman who is suspected to be one of the girl's moms claimed that they were moving into the "OG Hype House" and starting the "Junior Hype House."
"So, if you want, stay tuned," she said. "It's going to be amazing. We're going to have amazing content in the house and yes we have all the great memories of the OG Hype House."
The woman than went on a tour of the house, showing off some of the things that were left behind by the Hype House members. The finds include a signed pink helmet, a list of names on a white board, and what looks to be a to-do list.
In a comment, Thomas Petrou confirmed that these claims of anyone moving into the house are false as they are still paying rent.
But the group didn't stop there. In another deleted TikTok, the woman and a girl can be seen dancing in the famous Hype House bathroom. In the video, the woman is wearing what is said to be Chase Hudson's jacket.
Of course, Chase was not happy when he saw this video. "So today I woke up, checked tiktok, and saw that a few girls along with their MOTHER broke into our old house, and also took MY clothes," he wrote in a tweet.
Another video shows one of the girls in what looks to be one of Avani Gregg's hats.
It's unclear how they got into the house, but this isn't the first time fans have showed up at TikTok houses. Anthony Reeves of the Sway House has had to tweet many times, asking fans to stop knocking on their door and looking through the window. This time, though, the fans went a little too far.
